Insight: Example tours

  • To the Alpe di Siusi to the Sanon Hut
Easy panoramic hike with a view over the beautiful vastness of the Alpe di Siusi to the Sanon Hut. A horse-drawn sleigh takes us back to the cable car. Suitable for prams.
  • To the Laghetto di Fiè and the Malga Tuff
On a comfortable path you walk through cool forests, past the curious looks of the cows and the mythical Sasso delle Streghe (the witches’ rock), until we reach the idyllically situated Laghetto di Fiè after about 2 hours. If you feel like it, you can cool off in the pond or take a boat ride. If you like, you can continue with me to the beautifully located Malga Tuff (220 m altitude difference).
  • Hike to the Spitzbühl on the Alpe di Siusi
The Spitzbühl is a mountaintop with a breathtaking view of the Sciliar and the Cima Santner and of the Renon with the Corno del Renon. The area also offers excellent thermals for paragliding and RC airplanes.
  • On Marinzen, the idyllic alp above Castelrotto
Marinzen is a small alp above Marinzen. Children can play to their hearts’ content on the playground, watch fish and tadpoles at the pond and watch the goats and cows grazing. The parents will find comfy deck chairs to relax in and a bar for a cappuccino. If you feel like it, you can walk downhill to Bad Ratzes via trail no. 9.
  • To the Alpe di Siusi to the Tirler and to the Hexenweg (Witches’ path)
The 2 km long tour is an adventure playground in the middle of the forest for all senses: hear, smell, taste, feel. A special attraction is walking barefoot on the damp forest floor with its earthy scent, refreshing for tired little feet. Back at the Tirler we have a picnic and rest before we head back to Saltria and take the bus back to Compaccio.
