Adventure walking and hiking
If you would like to discover the Seiser Alm and the Schlern area on foot we recommend you to join our walking and hiking
guide Martina who will accompany you from Thursday to Tuesday. You will certainly discover more than you would on your own. Along the way you will find out plenty of information about the region and its people, to return to Bad Ratzes in the evening healthily tired with a wealth of memories of a day full of activity.
Children aged 7 and over can join in the walks without their parents, several trails are practicable with buggies and we will lend strong dads back child carriers free of charge. We will provide you with a hiking map and lend you rucksacks, water flasks, telescopic walking poles, buggies and back carriers free of charge.
The Tourist Boards and the Provincial Department for Nature Reserves organise nature walks with qualified guides who can provide a wealth of information on the area’s fauna, flora and the delicate balance of nature. These guided tours take place from the beginning of April until the beginning of November. Book at the local tourist office and Nature Reserve Visitor Centres where you can obtain information on routes and times. Groups of 5 to 15 persons, costing 5 euro, children and youths aged under 14 free. Sturdy hiking shoes and clothing adequate to protect against the elements are absolutely necessary.
