Childcare for babies, activity programme for kids & teens and a varied family programme

Kids & families will find space and room to play in Bad Ratzes not only indoors but also outdoors. Another highlight: the professional & loving programme for kids of all ages.

Infant care: from 6 months to 3 years

  • Childcare times in summer:
    Loving childcare for children aged 6 months and over (included in the board price)
    Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday from 8.00 am to 3.00 pm with lunch (€ 6);
    Mondays and Thursdays from 2.00 p.m. to 8.00 p.m. with afternoon snack.
    Monday to Saturday evening care from 7.30 pm to 8.30 pm to give parents the opportunity to have dinner in peace.
    Sunday time for the family. Family hike in the morning with a hiking guide.
  • Daily programme:
    In the morning, games in the marmot den.
    Later in the morning we head out into the fresh air, onto the large meadow, into the nearby forest, to the small stream, to the playground for the youngest children.
    Lunch together at the children's table at 12 noon.
    After lunch, quiet play or reading in the marmots den, a nap in the pram or playing on the large meadow with a view of the Schlern.
    On Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays, childcare ends at 3 pm.
    On Monday and Thursday afternoons there are play programmes, short excursions to the large meadow, the nearby forest, the stream or the playground.  

Childcare: from 4 to 11 years

  • Marmot’s Den
    Includes a craft corner, hammock, cosy corner, children's books and toys.
    Exciting and supervised activities from 17.30 to 21.30 (included in the board price) await you from Monday to Saturday.
  • Exciting kids’ programme
    Creative workshops, expert or themed days, adventurous forays into the forest and along the river, carving, as well as adventurous evening sessions and campfires await the children during this time. The detailed daily programme can be found directly at reception.

For kids & teens 12 years and older

  • Youth room
    with supervised and organised games, as well as table tennis, table football and a small climbing wall.
