Ski area Alpe di Siusi–Gardena:

Friends of all things skiing and freestyle will find a paradise with the Alpe di Siusi–Gardena ski area: About 80 lifts take you to a total of 175 kilometres of slopes and the best snowpark in Italy.
The ski resort also caters for families with children – they benefit from attractive offers, such as the ski and fun park for kids and day care.

If you are in the mood for a challenge and are not so quick on the snow, you should try the Seiser Alm Ronda. Seven stations around the Alpe di Siusi – an adventure for young and old.

Service: ski bus directly by the hotel

The ski bus from the hotel, stops in front of the house and takes you to the valley station of the modern gondola lift in Siusi 10 times a day in 10 minutes. From the valley station, the gondola lift takes you directly to the Alpe di Siusi skiing area in another 15 minutes. You get out of the gondola and you are already at the ski rental and ski depot, at the ski schools, at the playground where the children’s ski courses are held and the first ski runs start.

Service: warm ski boots

You don’t have to bother about skis and ski boots in the morning, you simply return to the Ski Depot Alpine Center at mountain station after your day on the slopes. Your ski boots are disinfected every day and in the morning you pick them up again and slip into pleasantly warm ski boots.

Service: ski rental Alpinsports in Siusi allo Sciliar

From sleds to downhill skis, from snowboard to snowshoes, for young and old, for professionals and beginners – at the ski rental, which is open daily until 8 p.m., you will find everything you need for your winter-sports adventures. The next morning you will find your complete equipment at the top station of the Alpe di Siusi cable car directly at the slope in the depot of the ski rental Alpine Sports.

Ski lessons for kids

Especially for the little ones, the rule is: learning is easy when you’re having fun. That’s why children learn skiing best through play. Every skiing day begins in the kids’area “Yeti Club”.
An experienced ski instructor of the Ski & Snowboard School Schlern 3000 Sciliar welcomes the little ones. Every week there is a children’s ski race, where all participants are winners, no matter how fast they reach the finish line. The following award ceremony is the big finale of a fun ski week, which the kids will remember for a long time.

For guests of Bad Ratzes we have special offers in collaboration with the Ski School Schlern 3000 Sciliar: every Saturday and Sunday a ski instructor of the Ski School Sciliar 3000 is waiting for you, and you have the opportunity to get information and book the courses directly, if you have not already booked. However, we recommend you book the courses from home, especially at Christmas, New Year, Carnival and Easter.
The Ski School Schlern 3000 Sciliar also offers a special program for children between 3 and 5 years old to prepare them playfully for the world of skiing.

Pick-up service from the ski course to the hotel

(except Christmas, New Year’s Eve & Carnival)
Every Monday, Tuesday and Friday we pick up your child from the ski slopes at 1 p.m. and accompany them to the hotel. We will help you to change your clothes, then we will have lunch and afterwards we will go to the childcare. The pick-up service must be booked with the reservation.

Childcare

If your child does not want to go to the ski school, it can come to Ms Sonia’s childcare together with other children. The children play in the marmot room and as soon as the sun comes out, they go to the big meadow together. Lunch at the children’s table at 12 o’clock. After lunch we take to quiet activities, we play and do handicrafts. At 3 p.m. the next member of staff takes care of your child. For older children who ski from 10 to 1 o’clock or longer: back from skiing, after a wonderful day on the Alpe di Siusi, your children are invited to exciting activities from 3 to 10 p.m. together with other children.

As an alternative to the childcare at the Hotel Bad Ratzes, the ski school also offers childcare. Please inform yourself directly in the skiing area.
