Climbing workshop (6+ years)

All great masters of climbing start out small. Maybe even at our hotel Bad Ratzes, at the climbing workshop with mountain guide Helmut. Perfect for all adventurers (and all adventurers to-be) from 6 years and older.

Programme

Day 1: Get to know each other
On the large meadow around the Hotel Bad Ratzes we learn more about each other and our climbing skills with icebreaker and all kinds of skill games such as slack-line, zip-line and Tyrolean bridge.

Day 2: Rock climbing
Our own Hauensteiner Burgfels and the erratic rock below is our playground for your first experience in rock climbing. Now we get our first instructions for moves and belaying while climbing, to make sure we reach the highest point safely.

Day 3: Day trip to a fixed rope route in the Dolomites
The adventure begins. We drive to the Passo Sella and climb the via ferrata Cir – perfect for aspiring rock acrobats. Track of medium difficulty that leads us to an audacious Dolomite peak.

We communicate with colours and learn how to bring out our creative side.

Working with natural materials for Kids & Teens

Together with Anna, you build a bat house or an insect hotel for taking home. With a little patience, the work of art will soon be populated. We are also allowed to admire the queen bee and her colony at the showcase on the large meadow and watch how the honeycombs slowly fill up.
