Experience music and art under the Schlern massif

between silence and sound, between history and the present - bad ratzes has always seen itself as a place for encounters. even during the fin de siècle, the house served as a retreat for the mind, for dialogue, and for art. at a time when tourism in south tyrol was still a novel concept, the first artists and thinkers found their way to bad ratzes. this identity as a cultural space lives on today - through readings, exhibitions, concerts, and quiet moments of wonder. nestled in nature, framed by the schlern, and steeped in the traditions of the dolomites, bad ratzes remains a place where inspiration flows.

With the ‘Bad Ratzes Music & Art’ format, visual and musical artists present their works in an ambience close to nature.
Contemporary, but also retrospective and forward-looking, this format unites regional culture enthusiasts and guests of the hotel to create unique experiences.
Discover Bad Ratzes - as a lively place of creative encounters. The 2026 programme is once again diverse and features musicians from German- and Italian-speaking areas.
The musical programme will feature delightful jazz and soul rhythms as well as acoustic treats inspired by gypsy swing. Artist Christian Piffrader invites us to critically examine the landscape as a result of human intervention.
